Cornell-Mayo Associates, a point-of sale retail software solutions leader, successfully implemented its new Omnistore point-of-sale software into Stage Store’s 760 store locations.

Stage Stores is the parent company of retail stores such as Bealls, Goody’s, and Peebles. The software has a service-oriented architecture, making it compatible with both new and old hardware models. Of course, this saved the stores quite a bit of hassle and lost revenue. Omnistore also has a full back-office functionality that allows users to access sales information through secure connection locations such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and iPhone. As if the multiple features of the Omnistore platform weren’t convenient enough, Cornell-Mayo was able to package the software for remote installation to all 760 stores, making the implementation process that much easier.
